Art of New York: Annual Juried Art Show opens in the Regional Art Galleries of the Arkell Museum & Canajoharie Library on Friday, May 12.

The show features a wide variety of artistic styles and mediums; oil, acrylic, gouache, and watercolor paintings, photography, and sculpture. Juror Eden Compton of Saratoga Springs selected forty-two pieces by thirty-seven artists from across New York State. The show runs through July 23 with a public reception and awards presented on Saturday, May 20, from 1-4 pm. Awards are sponsored by Golden Artist Colors and Blick Art Materials.
