Start the new year right with a one mile self-guided hike through the woods and along the shoreline of Otsego Lake. The trail is a loop and returns to the parking lot. The hike starts at 10:00 AM and the first 100 people will receive a First Day Hike giveaway. The hike closes at Dusk. Bathrooms are very limited so please plan accordingly. A Porta Jon is located at Beaver Pond and a Public Restroom is available at the Park Office if staffing allows. Trail surface might be snow and ice packed. Wear appropriate footwear/snowshoes for the conditions. Hiking/ski poles might be beneficial for balance.
