Free Virtual Job Fair
A free virtual job fair will be held on Tuesday, October 24, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, for all businesses and job seekers in the following counties: Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego. Local training grant program staff will also be available to connect job seekers with free programming to initiate a meaningful career.
The online event is sponsored by the Workforce Development Board of Herkimer, Madison and Oneida Counties’ (WDB/HMO) Regional Apprenticeship Development and Readiness (RADAR) grant project.
“The HMO Workforce Development Boards’ RADAR grant and partners are pleased to have recently had another successful virtual job fair. 144 job seekers and 42 businesses/organizations with more than 2,000 job opportunities were in attendance on Wednesday, September 27th.” says Project Director Sommer Edwards. “RADAR is pleased to offer another opportunity for local businesses and job seekers to connect on October 24th. If you or someone you know is looking to explore new employment opportunities, register today! Employers are hiring NOW and are excited to utilize this resource to connect with job seekers. Workforce Development grant programs will be in attendance to offer information regarding FREE training and job readiness.
