Call for details The international events and personages he characterizes hail from the US, the EU, Asia, Turkey etc. He translates news or thoughts into startling visual images to convey a range of sentiments. His style is inspired by surrealism and mid-20th-century European comics. “Finding an echo through the current world’s questions [with editorial work] and exploring my own narrative and graphical vocabulary in my personal work is a kind of leitmotiv,” he explained. “Reality and imagination are part of the same process.” A graduate of the Ecole Emile Cohl art school in Lyons, he works with different clients as an illustrator and art director. He co-founded the BK studio in 2012, a digital art research facilities and production company that works for corporate and non-profit clients. His dream is to one day create a New Yorker cover. Bonhomme loves jazz and plays the saxophone. Adept in many art forms, he noted, “I tint my universe with the sound of bebop, swing and the big time!” FB/Instagram: @ArtGarageCooperstown; leartgarage@gmail.com; text 315-941-9607, te. 607-547-5327.
