Glimmerglass Film Days: Rise
Nov. 4-11, 2021
Glimmerglass Film Days ninth annual film fest offers a curated slate of thought-provoking and inspiring films, lively receptions, filmmaker talks, compelling art, guided walks, and connections.
Poets use the word “rise” to evoke inspiration and hope, while scientists use the same word to track unsustainable trends in global temperatures and sea levels. Both instances are a call to action. Curated by the National Gallery’s Margaret Parsons, Film Days will present documentaries, narrative features, and shorts from around the world. Come experience stories of courage and perseverance, loss and anger, love and reconciliation. See what it takes to forge a new way forward.
We plan to offer you the full complement of Film Days features, with filmmaker talks, art exhibits, forums, guided walks, online viewing options, and receptions, as well as time to enjoy Cooperstown’s Main Street and the natural beauty of the region.
Glimmerglass Film Days is a program of Otsego 2000, an environmental and preservation advocacy non-profit based in Cooperstown, NY. Otsego2000.org
