Join Us for Our Next “Welcome Home Cooperstown” Community Meet & Greet on Tuesday, March 4th at 5:30pm

Please join us next Tuesday, March 4th at our monthly Welcome Home Cooperstown “Meet & Greet.” The event will include general information about the Cooperstown area and institutions, with a special celebration of Mardi Gras presented by Brian Wrubleski of local restaurant, Mel’s at 22.  Musicians Jack Cooper and Patsy Lyon will provide entertainment, and crafts for children will be available. Drop in at 22 Main Street (Cooperstown Library / Village Hall) anytime between 5:30-7pm!

All are welcome at these monthly events including newcomers to the area and longtime residents who would like to meet and welcome others. The goal is to welcome new residents, assist them in building connections, and encourage them to make our community their permanent home!

Members of the Welcome Home Cooperstown committee include interested citizens and representatives from the Village of Cooperstown, Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown Central School, and the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce, with support from the Friends of the Village Library, the Cooperstown Rotary Foundation  and The Community Foundation of Otsego County.  All members of the community are welcome to attend and participate in the work of building a stronger, more diverse, and welcoming community.
