Musicians of Ma’alwyck: A Concert Evening

Join us September 16th for a special concert by Musicians of Ma’alwyck performing music in the unique space of our Original Art Gallery (Night Watch).

Enjoy the Museum galleries and some Prosecco before the concert! Then join us in the Night Watch gallery for a glorious musical travelogue performed by violinist Ann-Marie Barker Schwartz, founder and director of Musicians of Ma’alwyck, and guitarist Sten Yngvar Isachsen. This special concert features pieces from Italian opera, transcriptions of Scottish folksongs, and Israeli hora, all played against a backdrop of work by Winslow Homer, William Merritt Chase, Childe Hassam, and more. An evening to savor both music and art!
