In Gallery B, we will feature “Paint the Point!” an exhibition of artwork by the participants of the Otsego Land Trust’s plein-air painting event at Brookwood Point in Cooperstown, New York in conjunction with the Cooperstown Art Association. The Otsego Land Trust organized this event for weekend of August 6th & 7th to bring visibility to one of the many beautiful public lands they manage in Otsego County. The goal was to draw interest to the area through a weekend long event that resulted in 25 plein-air artists convening on Brookwood Point and painting at their leisure while the public was welcome to come and enjoy and view the area alongside them. All participating artists were also given the opportunity to display and sell their work at the Cooperstown Art Association to further celebrate “Paint the Point” and share their work with the public.
Both exhibits will be on display at the CAA through Friday, September 23, 2022
Gallery Hours: Open Tuesdays – Saturdays from 11-4pm.
