The event is also a Launch Party for the new Otsego Outdoors Fall Challenge, which showcases places to hike, paddle, cycle, and fish in and near Otsego County. When people complete eight of the featured activities (an Octet), they receive a free Fall Octet patch, a free waterproof sticker and a listing on the Otsego Outdoors Challenge Roster. There will also be displays by the four nonprofit organizations that bring you Otsego Outdoors: the Otsego Land Trust, Otsego County Conservation Association, the Butternut Valley Alliance, and Otsego 2000. Café Ommegang opens at noon, and there will be information on upcoming events at Ommegang.
