Live and in person in the Great Hall of the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library. Mary Alexander, Curator of Education and Public Engagement at the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library, and David Brooks, Education Director at Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site will join forces to talk art and history in the Mohawk River Valley and the Erie Canal. This laid back, fun, and engaging presentation will look at the Arkell Museum’s extensive collection of Mohawk Valley and Erie Canal art and tie it to the history, memory, and revitalization of the Mohawk Valley region.
This program is free, great for teens, adults and seniors. This presentation is a partnership between the Arkell Museum and Canajoharie Library and Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site.
