Fiction Writer Peck Presents at Hartwick College’s Visiting Writers Series

ONEONTA, NY—Fiction writer and poet Geoff Peck will read from his work as part of the 2018–19 Visiting Writers Series at Hartwick College. Peck will read on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 7:30 pm. The reading will be held in the Eaton Lounge in Bresee Hall on the College campus. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

Peck is a writer, editor, podcaster, and assistant professor of English at County College of Morris in Randolph, NJ. His fiction and poetry have appeared in more than 20 publications, and he was nominated for Best New American Poets after winning the Thomas McGrath Award from The Academy of American Poets.

He has been an editor with several literary journals in the past and is currently Associate Editor of the Journal of New Jersey Poets.

His novel, City of Clans, is represented by the Hill Nadell Literary Agency in Los Angeles.

He is also co-host of The Jabsteps, an NBA podcast by English professors.

Peck received his Ph.D. in English & creative writing from the University of North Dakota, and a M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of Pittsburgh.

The reading is presented by the Department of English and the Visiting Writers Series at Hartwick College.
