Taxi Driver – Duane Michals: The Portraitist Film Series
Fenimore Art Museum presents the Duane Michals: The Portraitist Film Series on select Fridays this fall (September 20–November 1) at 7:00 p.m. Join us for a celebration of art and film in this series showcasing the exhibition, Duane Michals: The Portraitist. During his decades-long career, photographer Duane Michals has made images of some of the most important figures in filmmaking–including actors, writers, and directors. Each film in the series highlights different celebrities featured in his photographs. Films include Taxi Driver, Cabaret, Adaptation, and Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Tour the exhibition beginning at 6:30 p.m. and then enjoy a brief presentation and film screening at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Film ratings vary.
Refreshments are complimentary with suggested donation.
